Cupertino, Calif. (22 August 2011) - Nestled between turns two and three at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Ducati Island is open to all motorcycle enthusiasts and race fans in attendance. They will be treated to an entertaining blend of technical demonstrations, new product displays, exhibitions from Ducati partners and the legendary Ducati Fashion Shows. Enthusiasts that purchased the Ducati Ticket Package will have preferred Ducati motorcycle parking on the Island and will have the opportunity to watch the race from the Ducati Grandstand adjacent to Ducati Island. In addition, Ducati owners will receive extra benefits such as Ducati Gear Check and access to the Ducati Owners Hospitality area.

MotoGP VIP Experience Sweepstakes:
Win the opportunity to watch the MotoGP race from the Ducati Corse Pit Garage! Visitors of Ducati Island will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a once in a lifetime experience. The winner will be drawn on Sunday.
Make-A-Wish Silent Auction:
A silent auction will be held on Ducati Island to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Nicky Hayden’s favorite charity. Ducati partners and industry friends, such as Mercedes AMG, Puma, Oakley and Spider Grips, will team up in donating auction items including Ducati
MotoGP memorabilia that will be autographed by Ducati team riders.
Ducati Fashion Shows
On Saturday and Sunday, the energy and glamour of Ducati Fashion will invade the main stage of Ducati Island twice a day.
Ducati Community
Attendees will be welcomed to join the Ducati Community, an online social media platform for Ducati enthusiasts. After joining, members will be invited to share pictures and videos of happenings on the Island in real time via the Ducati Community mobile applications.
Monster Challenge
The 2011 Monster Challenge, a customization competition between Ducati Monster owners, culminates at the Indianapolis GP. Finalists from the on-line competition will be displaying their bikes on Ducati Island and all visitors to the Island are encouraged to stop by and vote for their favorite. At 1:15pm, prior to the race on Sunday, the winner will be
announced on the Ducati Island main stage.
Ducati Performance Exhibition
Ducati Performance representatives will be on hand with a hand full of custom Ducatis on display to present the many opportunities for customization with state of the art components from Ducati.
Ducati Owners Hospitality
Ducati Owner Hospitality offers Ducati owners a chance to relax with an espresso, congregate with friends and watch all of the action on the racetrack via live feed.
Ducati Partners
On display within the Ducati Owners Hospitality Area, Mercedes–AMG will be on hand with the 2012 SLS Coupe and 2012 CLS63 as well as a Mercedes–AMG product specialist to answer questions. Öhlins factory representatives will be joining the Ducati Service team for
the Master Tech Q&A sessions and TAW Performance will be displaying the latest andgreatest from Brembo and Marchesini alongside them.

The latest in Ducati fashion will be available for purchase on the Island, including the new Ducati Team replica gear.
