For the 2012 racing season Althea Racing Ducati will feature defending World Superbike Champion, Carlos Checa and 2011 World Superstock 1000 Champion, Davide Giugliano. Both will be on the Ducati 1198 world superbike machine. Checa won the 2011 title in convincing fashion with 15 wins and 21 podiums in the 26 events held during the season.
The collaboration between Althea Racing Ducati and Bel-Ray will bring the United States manufacturer's 60 plus years of experience in the specialty lubricants business to the top notch racing team.
