AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 16, 2012)— Tickets for the 2013 MotoGP and V8 Supercars series at Circuit of The Americas are on sale now at www.Ticketmaster.com, and the sales process includes a chance for race fans to make a direct donation to local, environmental organizations.
The world’s premier motorcycle racing World Championship, MotoGP™, will join the roster of racing events next spring with the three-day series set for April 19-21, 2013. The V8 Supercars Series, featuring Australian touring cars, will make its North American debut at the new Central Texas sports and entertainment venue on May 17-19, 2013.
Three-day reserved general admission tickets MotoGP are $89 with reserved seats ranging in price from $133 to $199. Three-day general admission tickets to V8 Supercars are $69 and three-day reserved seats for the series range in price from $83 to $275. Patrons with Circuit of The Americas personal seat licenses will receive price discounts on their MotoGP and V8 Supercars ticket purchases.
Race fans purchasing tickets to these 2013 Circuit events can also donate to three great causes. During the online checkout process, ticket buyers will be given the option to donate a specified amount to environmental organizations located in the Central Texas region that support ecological preservation and restoration efforts in the area. The three organizations—TreeFolks, Hill Country Conservancy and Restoration of the Lost Pines Fund—are working with Circuit of The Americas as part of the company’s overall sustainability programming.
