Blasting across y'all's screen with some of the hypest rhymes this side of a Ruff Ryders' joint, this New Jersey-bred DVD ($24.95) is as ghetto-fabulous as a jitney rollin' on 24-inch spinners. "I walk with a limp and ride like a pimp," the opening track announces, and for the next hour or so, Underground Riders does all that and more. Shot on the streets and in several deserted industrial parks (cut with plenty of action from what looks like the best block parties on the East Coast), the UR crew manages to pull off some pretty original stunts. Some crazy stuff, too--they're not afraid to ride a GSX-R down a flight of city steps, for instance, or pop-lock in traffic from bike to bike (you're not going to see that in a Mitsubishi commercial). At one point, some crazy bastard even wheelies through a New Jersey Turnpike toll booth (we hear the trooper is still trying to collect his quarter!). UR also slides us some on-board crash footage that is scary enough to make most wannabes pause before trying that next rolling burnout. And with the block-party vibe running a blue streak through this DVD, it's no surprise to see lots (and lots) of close-up footage from rump-shakin' contests at the annual Myrtle Beach Black Bike Week--I swear, the last time I saw this many big, smokin' butts was at a Cuban cigar smoke-off. Ba-dum-dum. Please tip your servers: Underground Riders, Volume II is a good effort, and worth the price for the soundtrack alone.
