The XDL stunt riding championship finished up its 2006 season in April at the Scores gentlemen's club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event featured winners from the West Coast qualifier going head-to-head with the East Coast qualifiers. Additional measures were made to allow a last-chance qualifier for any riders unable to make the previous two events.

Founded in 2006, XDL is a national stunt-riding championship that has helped push freestyle sportbike riding into the mainstream through a series of innovations that include a standardized scoring system, use of the same judges throughout the season and respectful treatment of riders. At the latest competition, XDL implemented video replay to further make judging more transparent, systematic and objective.
The main event featured all the freestyle-world heavyweights including Kane Friesen, Darius Khashabi, AC Farias, Chris McNeil, Dan Jackson, Ernie Vigil, Josh Clem, Joe Dryden, Alex Flores and John Risconsin battling for the top spot, but it was 15-year-old Aaron Colton who out-rode the competition to put himself at the top of the stunt-riding world. Colton set the bar early in the main event with a 93-point run, thus taking top position in the Racing 905 Hot Seat. AC Farias and Chris McNeil also broke into 90-point scores to take 2nd and 3rd respectively, but by the end of the day, Colton was able to hold his ground to claim the first-ever XDL U.S. Stunt Riding National Championship.

Stunt Jam 2007 was two days of camping, stunting and lawlessness in a controlled environment
Stunt Jam 2007 Lawless and loose stuntin' work when in the right environment. The first-ever Full Throttle Inc. Stunt Jam 2007 took over the U.S. 41 Dragway in Morocco, Indiana. Riders and fans couldn't have asked for a better venue, because with little authority the riders were given the freedom to do pretty much whatever they pleased.
Full Throttle Inc.'s Bill McMahon acted as host of this unique event. His vision was to present a venue where fellow riders could come together simply to ride and party for the weekend. Almost everybody who attended took full advantage of the camping available as well, which always adds a bit of late-night amusement.
Riders from all over the United States rolled out for the festival, including the Street Fighterz, Vertical Outlaws, Adrenaline Crew, Vertical Mischief, St. Louis Shockers and many more. The jam kicked off Friday with a free ride that pretty much went on all day and night.
Eric Whitcomb launches a custom ZX-14 for the crowdSaturday morning started off with a three-mile street ride to a local caf for a riders' breakfast. The day was then filled with various individual competitions such as sickest trick, longest stoppie and longest coaster for a chance to win prizes.
The final competition included a drunken 50cc race that consisted of five laps, but with a twist-after each lap the racers had to slam down a beer before continuing.

Other event highlights included the Miss Stunt Jam pageant, fireworks, live music and excessive partying. We can only imagine what Full Throttle Inc. will have in store for us at next year's Jam.
Though the California desert isn't exactly a friendly place in the summer, it was very hospitable this spring. Desert Cities Honda bike shop and H6 Promotions hosted a Support the Troops motorcycle show as a means to display appreciation for the soldiers who fight for our freedom every day.
Spectators were treated to vendors, food, live music and street stunts from Eric "E-Dub" Whitcomb, Nate Hall, Rhome and Danielle and others.
