For part five of our 2017 Polaris Slingshot project we added a tinted wind deflector. This time we head back to the style department and add a Rear Fender and Belt Guard Cover.
We are getting closer to the conclusion of the upgrades in the styling department. In order to break up the solid red, we are adding white accents in several key places. The first white accent is in the form of a Belt Guard Cover. Why white? Be patient—after it all comes together it’ll make more sense. To keep rocks from kicking up during our many burnout sessions and add some style, we included a rear fender.
For the next part of our styling department we added a simple, yet effective, white stripe to the newly installed rear fender. Simple? Yes, but it also adds to our overall goal—which will be revealed at the end.
By this point using Polaris parts has begun to spoil us. Everything from the brackets, stickers, to the color matching is always spot-on, making installation nothing short of a bolt-on-tighten-and-go affair.
