For part four of our 2017 Polaris Slingshot project we upgraded the convenience of the Slingshot with custom-fit luggage. This time we head back to the style department and add a tinted Ripper Series Wind Deflector.

With the open cockpit of the Slingshot, there’s little to no hiding from the viewing public. So if you’re going to be seen, why not have on a cool pair of shades? With the SS, those shades come in the form of a shorter, tinted wind deflector.
The stock windscreen is clear and does an okay job of keeping the wind off you. But face it (pun intended): You don’t drive a Slingshot if you’re worried about your hair getting messy. The Ripper Series whacks off about 2-plus inches of deflection to really open the wind in your face. Once again, a small change has a big impact, and the addition of the tint really gives it a much more menacing look.
Installation falls in line with every product we have added from Polaris: flawless and effortless. A handful of screws later and you’re ready to rock.
