For part six of our 2017 Polaris Slingshot project we added a Rear Fender and Belt Guard Cover. This round we wrap up the style department with a white painted front grille and media bezel plus a center hood decal kit.
In the last cosmetic upgrade, we added a belt guard in solid white. At first glance, it looked a bit out of place. This time, we tied it all together with even more white accents. First, we added a white front grille and media bezel. The media bezel couldn’t have been easier to install with two small bolts holding it in place. The grille was only slightly more difficult because of its location, but it too went on without a hitch.
Finally we swapped out the black Slingshot logos on the hood and center strip for gray and white versions from the factory decal kits. We squared everything off using gaffer’s tape first to make sure we got the new decals spot-on.
With these accents completed, we wrap up the styling for our 2017 Slingshot. But wait. There’s more! The final two modifications are not only the largest but easily the most expensive with the greatest impact.
